English football giants Manchester United will honor its Nigerian fans that were electrocuted to death while watching the team’s Europa League match against Anderlecht in the city of Calabar.
The Red Devils, through their Twitter handle, announced that the team would wear black armbands in honour of the people that were killed that night.

The #MUFC players will wear black armbands on Sunday in memory of the seven fans who lost their lives recently in Calabar, Nigeria.
The official tally said seven people were killed, though local reports indicated that at least 30 lost their lives in the incident.
Manchester United won the game 2-1, thanks to a Marcus Rashfor extra-time goal, ensuring the English side will feature in the semi-final of the Europa League, where they will play Spanish side Celta Vigo.
